Glendale Elementary School District #40 is located in downtown Glendale, Arizona. Comprised of sixteen K-8 schools servicing more than 13,000 students, Glendale Elementary School District (GESD) strives to meet the technological challenges of the future. Aiming to achieve educational excellence, we strive to provide the best educational programs for our children. GESD's accomplishments include:

1. Challenger Middle School has twice been named one of five Arizona A+ Schools.
2. Two of our schools were selected as Arizona Literacy Sites.
3.
